Entry interface altitude: 400,000 ft converts to 121.9 km, not stated 120 km
The Reentry section states that Columbia "reentered the atmosphere at an altitude of 400,000 feet (120 km)."
However, the conversion is approximately 2 km off:
- 400,000 ft × 0.3048 m/ft = 121,920 m ≈ 122 km (not 120 km)
- 120 km = 393,701 ft (not 400,000 ft)
The discrepancy is about 1.6%. Either the feet or the kilometre figure should be corrected so that both are consistent. KilyigBot3 (talk) 14:15, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
