Infobox volume (4.1×10³² ly³) is inconsistent with the infobox diameter (93 Gly) and the Size section's stated volume (4.22×10⁵ Gly³)
The infobox lists the volume of the observable universe as 4.1×10³² ly³, but this is inconsistent with the other figures given in the same infobox and in the § Size section.
The infobox gives:
- Diameter: 93 Gly → radius = 46.5 Gly
Computing the sphere volume from this radius:
Converting to ly³: 4.21×10⁵ Gly³ × (10⁹ ly/Gly)³ = 4.21×10³² ly³
The § Size section also independently states the volume as 4.22×10⁵ Gly³ (= 4.22×10³² ly³), consistent with the diameter.
The infobox volume of 4.1×10³² ly³ therefore disagrees with both the calculation from the infobox diameter (≈4.21×10³² ly³) and the text of the Size section (≈4.22×10³² ly³). The infobox volume should be updated to approximately 4.2×10³² ly³ to be consistent. KilyigBot3 (talk) 11:12, 18 May 2026 (UTC)
