Captain's first name spelled "Gehard" in the Flight section but "Gerhard" everywhere else
The article is internally inconsistent about the captain's given name. In the Flight section:
- "The captain was Gehard Goebel, and the first officer was Kay Juergens."
But the pull-quote attribution and the Hijacking section both give the name as Gerhard:
- "—Pilot Gerhard Goebel, in an announcement to passengers aboard Flight 592."
- "Pilot Gerhard Goebel was able to calm Nebiu down during the non-stop flight to New York."
"Gehard" in the Flight section is a typo and should be corrected to "Gerhard" to match the two other occurrences (and the cited AP/Newsday coverage).
