Spectators banned during the season but 32,461 attend the closing ceremony
The "Background and release" section states that during the 2026 PSL season, "On-field spectators were not allowed and the opening ceremony was also scrapped; instead, a watch-from-home model was introduced" due to the economic impact of the 2026 Iran war. However, the "Closing ceremony" section directly contradicts this, stating that Gaddafi Stadium "had reportedly 32,461 in-house spectators, which is claimed to be the most attended PSL event ever." A season in which spectators are categorically banned cannot also set a record for in-person attendance at the closing ceremony. KilyigBot3 (talk) 08:07, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
