Griffin design declared winner "on 24 May 1911" — before the competition closed on 31 January 1912

The "Creation of the nation's capital" section contains an internal contradiction about when the Griffins' design was declared the winner of the federal capital design competition.

The article states:

"An international design competition was launched by the Department of Home Affairs on 30 April 1911, closing on 31 January 1912."

and then, a few sentences later:

"On 24 May 1911, O'Malley came down on the side of the majority of the board with the design by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin of Chicago, Illinois, United States, being declared the winner."

These cannot both be correct: the competition's own closing date (31 January 1912) is more than seven months after the claimed date on which the winner was announced. The surrounding chronology confirms the problem — the six-member implementation board the article says O'Malley appointed after the win is then said to report on 25 November 1912, which fits a 1912 announcement but not a 1911 one.

The year "1911" appears to be a typo for 1912. The announcement of the Griffins as the winning entrants is conventionally dated to 23 May 1912 (see Walter Burley Griffin and the usual sources on the federal capital competition). Suggested fix: change "On 24 May 1911" to "On 23 May 1912" (or whichever date the cited source — Fitzgerald 1987, p. 100 — actually gives), so the sequence of events is self-consistent.
