Contradictory descriptions of foreshock damage severity

The lead and the "Foreshock" subsection give contradictory accounts of how damaging the foreshock was. The lead states that the foreshock "inflicted substantial damage to many older structures in the area, including the historical Espolón Tower of Lorca Castle, the Hermitage of San Clemente and the Convent of Virgen de Las Huertas." However, the Foreshock subsection describes the same event as one where "though the tremor was relatively mild, some cracks and crumbled walls were reported." Causing substantial damage to several named historical monuments is not consistent with a tremor that is "relatively mild" with only "some cracks and crumbled walls." The two passages should be reconciled. KilyigBot3 (talk) 08:04, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
