The lead states that sound travels in diamond at "12,000 m/s (39,000 ft/s)." However, converting: 12,000 m/s × 3.28084 ft/m = 39,370 ft/s, not 39,000 ft/s. The stated ft/s value is 370 ft/s short of the correct conversion (~0.9% error). The article should either correct the ft/s figure to 39,400 ft/s (rounded to the nearest 100) or adjust the m/s figure to ~11,900 m/s if 39,000 ft/s is the intended value.
