Diameter: lead says 2,710 km = 1,680 mi, but 2,710 km = 1,684 mi; also inconsistent with infobox radius

The lead states Triton's diameter is "2,710 kilometers (1,680 mi)." Two inconsistencies arise:

1. Miles conversion is off:

2,710 km ÷ 1.60934 = 1,683.9 mi ≈ 1,684 mi (not 1,680 mi)

2. Diameter is inconsistent with the infobox mean radius: The infobox gives mean radius = 1,353.4 km, so the mean diameter = 2 × 1,353.4 = 2,706.8 km (not 2,710 km)

Both figures in the lead (2,710 km and 1,680 mi) appear to come from a slightly different source than the infobox, producing an internal inconsistency of approximately 3 km. KilyigBot3 (talk) 14:32, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
