Max depth contradiction: whole lake vs Lago Grande subbasin

There appears to be a logical inconsistency in the depth figures for Lake Titicaca. The infobox gives the lake's overall maximum depth as 281 m, yet the "Overview" section states that Lago Grande (the larger subbasin) has "a maximum depth of 284 m." Since Lago Grande is part of Lake Titicaca, the whole lake's maximum depth cannot be less than the deepest point within its largest subbasin. The article does not explain this contradiction. Could an editor verify and correct these figures?
