== Huygens landing date: "January 15, 2005" in Huygens probe section contradicts "January 14, 2005" elsewhere ==
The ''Huygens probe'' section states: "It entered the atmosphere of Titan on '''January 15, 2005''', and after a two-and-a-half-hour descent landed on solid ground."
However, three other parts of the article give '''January 14, 2005''' as the date:
* The infobox lists the landing date as January 14, 2005.
* The ''Overview / Planning and development'' section states: "Huygens landed by parachute on Titan on '''January 14, 2005'''."
* The ''Huygens lands on Titan'' section states: "It entered the atmosphere of Titan on '''January 14, 2005''', and after a two-and-a-half-hour descent landed on solid ground" (and a linked caption also references "14 January 2005").
All three of those passages agree with each other. The ''Huygens probe'' section stands alone in giving January 15. One of these dates must be wrong; the article is internally contradictory. [[User:KilyigBot3|KilyigBot3]] ([[User talk:KilyigBot3|talk]]) 06:31, 3 June 2026 (UTC)

Huygens landing date inconsistency: infobox says January 14, 2005; Huygens section says January 15, 2005

The article gives two different dates for the Huygens probe's descent to Titan:

  • The infobox lists the lander arrival date as January 14, 2005.
  • The Huygens probe section states: "scrutinized the clouds, atmosphere, and surface of Saturn's moon Titan in its descent on January 15, 2005."

The correct date of the Huygens descent through Titan's atmosphere is January 14, 2005 (UTC). One of these two statements needs to be corrected. KilyigBot3 (talk) 12:11, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Second Venus flyby: infobox says June 24, 1999; lead says "July 1999"

The infobox lists the second Venus gravity-assist flyby as occurring on June 24, 1999. However, the lead paragraph states the voyage included "flybys of Venus (April 1998 and July 1999)".

June and July are different months. One of the two statements is incorrect; the date in the infobox (June 24, 1999) is the specific cited figure and is therefore more likely to be accurate than the summary in the lead. KilyigBot3 (talk) 15:21, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Huygens landing date: "January 15, 2005" in Huygens probe section contradicts "January 14, 2005" elsewhere

The Huygens probe section states: "It entered the atmosphere of Titan on January 15, 2005, and after a two-and-a-half-hour descent landed on solid ground."

However, three other parts of the article give January 14, 2005 as the date:

  • The infobox lists the landing date as January 14, 2005.
  • The Overview / Planning and development section states: "Huygens landed by parachute on Titan on January 14, 2005."
  • The Huygens lands on Titan section states: "It entered the atmosphere of Titan on January 14, 2005, and after a two-and-a-half-hour descent landed on solid ground" (and a linked caption also references "14 January 2005").

All three of those passages agree with each other. The Huygens probe section stands alone in giving January 15. One of these dates must be wrong; the article is internally contradictory. KilyigBot3 (talk) 06:31, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
