The Classification section contains an internal date contradiction. It reads:

"In '''1783''', Gilij was the first to identify similarities between Maipure and a number of languages now classified as Arawakan [...] in his book ''Saggio di storia americana'' ('''1780''')."

These two dates are mutually inconsistent. The article states that Gilij made his identification ''in 1783'', yet attributes that identification to a book published ''in 1780''. A classification cannot have been published in a book three years before it was supposedly made. The History section's image caption also gives the date of ''Saggio di storia americana'' as 1780, corroborating that the book's date is 1780 throughout the article.
